Private Events

 Customized private pottery events give you and your group exclusivity in the studio. Examples of private groups include: 

• Girl Scout & Boy Scout Troops
• Home School Groups
• Birthday Parties
• Date Nights
• Girls Night Out
• Family Activity 
• Corporate Outings
• Bachelorette Parties

Be guided through the making of a project using the pottery wheel or hand-building techniques, and experience various parts of the process depending on how many times you choose to come!

1 Class - Make a project. Select a glaze and Grateful Clay will bisque fire your work, glaze it for you, glaze fire your work. Project pick up or shipping available within 4-6 weeks. 

2 Classes - Make a project. Grateful Clay will bisque fire your work. Your group will return in 2+ weeks to glaze. We will glaze fire your work. Project pick up or shipping available within 2-3 weeks after glazing day. 

3 Classes - For those working on the pottery wheel, the first class will be for throwing, the second will be for trimming the bottom and adding and decorative elements. We will then bisque fire your work. Your group will return in 2+ weeks to glaze. We will glaze fire your work. Project pick up or shipping available within 2-3 weeks after glazing day. For those doing hand-building projects, the second class will allow for completion and refinement of complex projects. 

4 + Classes - For those who want to learn how to throw on the pottery wheel and grow in skill and technique, we recommend a minimum of 4-6 classes. Your group will also be given discounted access to our Open Studio times to allow for additional practice.
