Kids 2.5-Hour Pottery Wheel

No experience needed for this relaxing, step-by-step introduction to the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel, designed specifically for kids! Students will learn the skills needed to make a simple bowl on the pottery wheel.

Who Can Participate

This class is designed for kids aged 8-12. Children aged 5-7 may enroll as long as an adult guardian stays for the duration of the class to assist.

What's Included

• 2.5-hours of instruction
• Small class size of up to 8 people
• 4 x 1 lb balls of white clay to practice with during class
• 1 fired and glazed piece per person
• Option to return  within 30 days of your pottery being bisque fired to paint your own pottery, or to have the studio glaze your pot for you.
• 10% discount on any pottery purchases from the gallery

Extras

• Additional pieces can be fired and glazed at a rate of $10/piece for dip-glazed pieces and $15/piece for brush-glazed pieces. 
• Pieces can be shipped upon completion for a flat rate of $15/box. 
  

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 8 days or more in advance will be fully refunded. Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to the class start date are non-refundable.

Preferred payment methods are cash and zelle. To pay using either of these methods, please select "COD or Cash on Delivery" as your payment method. Payment must be received within 7 days of registration or your registration will be cancelled and your spot will be opened up to someone else. Cash payments can be dropped off at the studio during any Open Studio time listed on the website. An email will be sent within 48 hours of registration with zelle information if that is your preference. 

We also accept credit and debit card.

Any card payments made at the studio will be subject to a 3.5% service fee.
