6-Week Independent Study | Session 6

Independent Study is designed to give clay artists instruction-free studio access to practice their skills and freely create to their hearts content.

Who Can Participate

Independent Study is designed for adults and responsible teens aged 13-17 who know how to safely and independently use studio equipment. Children aged 8-12 may enroll as long as an adult guardian enrolls and accompanies the child to each Open Studio.

What's Included

• Designated shelf space
• Unlimited Open Studio access
• Access to studio equipment, tools & aprons

Extras

• Clay and advanced level tools can be purchased at the studio
• Pieces can be bisque fired at a rate of $1 per pound per piece (rounded up to the nearest pound)
  
• Additional pieces can be glazed fired at a rate of $3 per pound per piece (rounded up to the nearest pound)
  

Open Studio

We will be offering Open Studio during the following times. We will be adding some evening and weekend times as well as we get closer to the session start date.

• Mondays 1:00-4:00 pm
  • (9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30)
• Tuesdays 1:00-4:00 pm
  • (9/24, 10/1)
• Wednesdays 1:00-4:00 pm
  • (9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25)
• Thursdays 1:00-4:00
  • (9/5, 9/12, 9/19, 9/26)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 8 days or more in advance will be fully refunded. Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to the class start date are non-refundable.
