Manufacturer's Notes

The Potter's Choice glaze series was designed with the pottery in mind! These stunning glazes add fluid colors and effects to smooth or textured ware, with optimal results at Cone 5/6. To use these glazes is to step into different ceramic glaze traditions of many cultures throughout history. 

Semi-gloss warm yellow, Golden Honey is a translucent glaze like whipped honey. Breaks lighter on texture, a richer color where thick.

Layers well over AMACO Celadons, other Potter's Choice and Satin Matte glazes. Glaze layering fired results may run if paired with a runny glaze. We recommend testing any layering combinations prior to putting it on a full ceramic piece. 

Shake well before use. For best results, do not thin the glaze and apply 3 brush coats to bisque. Let the glaze dry between coats. Glaze fire to Cone 5-6. Due to variations in raw materials used during manufacturing, we recommend firing glazed test tiles before using each new batch number of glaze.

Studio Notes
For 2 oz and 4 oz portions, glazes are poured from bulk into portion cups with lids. For long-term storage, we recommend placing your portion cups into a zip lock bag.

For 16 oz portions, glazes are poured from bulk into cleaned recycled glaze bottles.
